How to watch BBC Winter Olympics live stream from outside the UK?

Are you stuck outside the UK and want to watch the live streams from the Winter Olympics in Sochi? That is easy and can be fixed. BBC will broadcast day and night from Sochi and first of all at BBC2. To be able to watch BBC2 live stream in iPlayer or just simply the live stream from outside the UK, get yourself a VPN provider with IP addresses in the UK, and you are ready to go within seconds.

The best provider with IPs in the UK is probably HideMyAss or PureVPN. Visit both providers websites and decide for the VPN provider that seems easiest to use and with the best policies to you. Personally, I would go for HideMyAss, since they have a much nicer refund policy (30-day refund guarantee if you use less than 10GB of bandwidth).

If you have a subscription with either PureVPN or HideMyAss, do the following steps.

  • Connect to one of their servers in the UK.
  • Wait some minutes or restart your browser.
